Use the POST {{baseUrl}}/api/v1/groups/file/validate request to read and validate the groups CSV file sent with the request. PingCentral calls this request automatically when you import a group file.

To validate, the file must

• not be empty,
• contain the name heading (other headings optional),
• have unique displayName values for each group (if provided) that are also unique to the current list of groups in PingCentral,
• have a name value for each group, and
• be a valid CSV file.
